Sarakiniko Beach, the ‘Saracens Beach’ is one of the stunning stretches of sand on the coast of Gavdos.
You will not find any sun loungers to hire, parasols, watersports or other trappings of many holiday resorts, just sun, sand and sea.
Many visitors to the island are ‘free camping’ with their tents erected under the trees, with a few nice tavernas to keep them fed and watered.
